A creative movement class suitable for ages 12 months to 36 months. Perfect for the child who still needs a little more time before separating from the parent or caregiver. “Dance With Me” is a great option for you to engage and bond with your little one! A parent or guardian will join their dancer and actively guide them through basic dance steps, creative movement, songs, motor skills, counting, play, and exploring the world of dance one class at a time.
A Pre-Ballet class for ages 3-4 ready to explore the world of dance. This class is designed to meet the unique needs of our Tiny Dancers, each student will enter a world of limitless imagination and creativity while learning dance vocabulary and techniques with set goals and specific curriculum. We will focus on developing coordination skills through creative movement (jumping, hopping, leaping, marching, etc) as well as timing, rhythm and spatial awareness. Join us on this journey of dance as your Tiny Dancer learns and grows as well as participates in our bi-annual dance performances and recitals.
This class is the perfect class for ages 5-7. This is a beginner dance combo class of Ballet and Lyrical dance styles. Students are given the opportunity to move, stretch, and improve self confidence while being introduced to basic ballet concepts. This includes body alignment , posture, locomotor skills, as well as develop self expression through creative movement. Ballet I focuses on the fundamentals of Ballet technique. While Lyrical dance is a combination of ballet and jazz dance styles that often uses music with lyrics to inspire the movements of the dancer. Instruction will be split between both genres of dance.
